Celeste Maria Schueler is a poet and twin mother from Mississippi. She holds her BA in English and MFA in creative writing from Mississippi University for Women. Her work stems from nature, new motherhood, and living with a mental illness. Celeste has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes and Best of the Net. She hopes her work can break the stigma she and others have faced. Celeste loves reading all sorts of books, writing poetry and essays, baking bundt cakes, hiking with her husband, and taking her twin daughters on adventures. Her first full length collection about her journey with bipolar disorder is forthcoming from ELJ Editions in 2026.
